Megabike, a new spring classic game for Corelio

Commissioned by Corelio, Belgium’s single national media group, Relephant has deliverd the cycling fanatasy game Megabike.
A new cycling game has been created based on the existing games MegaScore and MegaCross. Last year a new game platform was built to make the realization of this game possible. Part of this including: integration with the improved Corelio login database to allow single sign-on, integration with the payment service Ogone, setting up a replication solution and coupling sports data provider to automatic processing module. The platform was developed with C#.Net together with MS SQL Server.
Megabike is, just like MegaScore and MegaCross, a paid game. Participants can draft their own team for €7,-. A team consists of 15 cyclists subdivided into team leaders, domestiques and water carriers. For each of the spring classic races, 9 of these 15 cyclists can be selected, for which, based on their official performance, points will be awarded. Every week participants can win big prizes with jackpot prizes of € 12.500,- cash, cars and vacations.
Participants can also initiate sub-leagues in which they can create their own exciting competition competing against friends or colleagues.
