The Hurriyet Internet Group is one of the major players in the Turkish Internet scene. Major The most important Hurriyet portals are hurriyet.com.tr (daily news), hurriyetemlak.com (housing vertical), hurriyetoto.com (vehicles vertical) and yenibiris.com (jobs vertical).

Relephant has fully rebuilt www.hurriyetoto.com based on new technology.The new platform has been developed on the Microsoft .NET platform (C#.NET in combination with MS SQL Server) and using SolR to search and browse through all suitable relevant vehicles as quick & easy as possible.

The search and filtering infrastructure in the website have has been brought to the highest level possible, screens for posting or listing ads have been enhanced with user friendly practices and a vehicle rating system is launched in order to allow consumers to share their experiences on a common platform.

Using the backoffice system, the platform can be maintained completely , in multiple languages. Furthermore, the backoffice allows Hurriyet staff to manage users, advertisements, shops, payments (including credit card installments), listing packages and Google Map locations.

Over 10 applications have been developed and are operational to offer provide notifications, in- site messaging services, statistics, data importers/exporters and synchronizers to keep all system elements and users up-to-date.

11 December 2011 - Ekonomist, a Turkish financial magazine, interviewed Robert Goedemans. He talked about the company's goals and also evaluated the internet market in Turkey. Furthermore, he talked about the exciting outlook of the turkish E-commerce market. Goedemans stated that for Relephant, Turkey promises to become a very important market.
