Seatme iPhone app launched

7 January 2011 - Free restaurant reservations using the SeatMe iPhone app

Previously Relephant developed the backend system that restaurants use to manage their reservations as well as the consumer site that allows users to search through available restaurants in real time. Now these successful projects get a follow up with the mobile version(s) of the SeatMe platform.

2011 gets a kick start for Relephant and Seatme with the launch of the Seatme iPhone app. With this free app you can quickly and easily find available tables at the finest restaurants. Using the app you can make a reservation that is free and instantly confirmed in the digital restaurant book of the participating restaurant. Seatme has connected hundreds of restaurants to the platform already, and the amount is increasing daily.

Features:

- Find a table on location, date/time and amount of persons or search by name
- Search on restaurants that are nearby and see the closed restaurants including the distance
- Filter restaurants based on price, kitchen, atmosphere and more
- View detailed information about the restaurant like map, description and pictures
- Make a reservation and receive instant confirmation via email
- View the route to the restaurant from your current location
- Modify or cancel future reservations

The SeatMe app is a huge success already. After only 2 days it’s in the most downloaded apps list of the Dutch app store, receiving great feedback. 11 December 2011 - Ekonomist, a Turkish financial magazine, interviewed Robert Goedemans. He talked about the company's goals and also evaluated the internet market in Turkey. Furthermore, he talked about the exciting outlook of the turkish E-commerce market. Goedemans stated that for Relephant, Turkey promises to become a very important market.

Relephant in Technology Fast 500 EMEA

24 November 2011 - During a special gala evening in London it was announced that Relephant ranks in the top 500 fastest growing Tech companies of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Yenicarsim launched

20 October 2011 - Relephant has completed another significant project in the Turkish market. The project Yenicarsim.com, a new e-commerce initiative by Hurriyet.
